What's Your Sanctuary? The No Mercy Contest

NO MERCY from New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon, debuted on September 7th, as the 19th addition to the Dark-Hunter series! And thanks to Lori at Get Red PR,
I have an amazing giveaway just for you readers!

Many a Kenyon fan has said that that they have found sanctuary in her books throughout the years. Her fans also know about The Sanctuary, the fictional New Orleans bar in the Dark-Hunter world. Avid readers will often say that books provide a great retreat...that the release of a new book from a favorite author can make one's day...that there's nothing better than suspending disbelief and allowing oneself to sink into a storyline or a fantasy world.

We want to know from readers, what's your sanctuary? Perhaps it's playing Rock Band on Xbox or settling into an episode of Star Trek. Perhaps you love spin class or heading to the park to sketch.

Tell me about your sanctuary and why, and a randomly selected reader will receive a copy of
NO MERCY

Open to US/Canada ONLY

My sanctuary is creating artwork and doing crafts. I like to get lost in whatever project I am working on. It seems that time passes quickly and it is very therapeutic

My sanctuary is going for a long walk in the woods with my dog, Jake. It's so peaceful without any distracting noises-other than the noises of nature!- that it gives me time to relax and clear my head.

My sanctuary is my bed and a book. It has been since I was a very young girl! In it I am comfortable and able to escape into any world I choose by way of books!

I am with stiletto! Ever since I was little curling up in bed has been my sanctuary. I can't do it if hubby is there or the kids. It has to be me alone. Maybe with some iced tea to sip on and a small snack. That's all I need!

I think of sanctuary as the place where you feel most comfortable and at rest... For me, I find sanctuary when I'm sitting outside reading. I love doing that during the fall, when there's a light breeze and it isn't too sunny. That's probably when I'm most at ease... Really, I think any place with fresh air that isn't too hot or populated works.

My sanctuary would be on top of my horse (or anywhere just being with her for that matter). I like to take off and just ride. Her steady stride seems to make my problems take a hike for a while. It's something that I have done since I was a little girl, with whatever horse I had at the time. They're very peaceful animals that tend to share that feeling with those they love.

Thanks for the chance,
Jules

My sanctuary would be on the rocks on top of the hill in front of my house. Hardly anyone goes up there because it's a steep walk to get to it. The view from the top is wonderful, though. It's a huge panoramic view of my city, and the two neighboring cities up to the north and to the east. It's so relaxing and peaceful -- I feel like I'm on top of the world when I'm up there. No one bothers me there, so I go there for my alone/thinking time. It's also very breezy at the top, so since I live in a relatively hot area, it's a nice place to escape the heat.

My sanctuary is reading a good book. It doesn't matter where I read, if I'm reading I'm happy.

My santuary is curled up in my bed with a nice blankie and a good book, or out on my back porch with one. These seem to be the most peaceful areas for me and I love getting swept away by a good story.

My backyard is definitely my sanctuary. I love gardening and it seems that the stresses of the day melt away each time I immerse myself in a gardening project. It is the type of hands-on work that has rewarding results in the form of lovely flowers or yummy fruits & veggies. And that is such a nice break from less rewarding chores like dishes and laundry which always seem to pile up faster than I can keep up with them. Thanks for hosting this giveaway! :)

My sanctuary is gardening. I can't go out side without pulling a weed or watering. I have been digging up bad grass and replanting good grass, lol, as well as planting scrubs, plants and just puttering around. I love my yards and flower beds. It is so relaxing for me to work in them. It is more relaxing than housework. lol

If I can just escape for even a half hour from the craziness of my life, I can recharge. Favorite sanctuary is the window seat in my bedroom, curled up with my down comforter, reading a great story.

-I love to read so my sanctuary really is just reading a good book! But sometimes I do need to get away and since I live in the High Desert, I thankfully have a cute little park next to a small aircraft airfield Called Apollo Park and it is very relaxing with all the trees, ponds, and duckies about! I love it!!!

Thank you so much again!!!
